Welcome - Big Jump 2016
For the Big Jump 2016 - 3pm, 10 July - thousands of people will simultaneously jump again for their rivers and lakes. 2016 is also the 40th anniversary of the European Bathing Directive. It aims to protect the environment and our health by ensuring that water quality is good in bathing areas. We will celebrate this anniversary in big-jump style – water protection in a bathing suit! The big jump events indicate where people like to swim, in rivers and lakes and at the coast, in cities and in the countryside. They indicate where something needs to be done. They are perspectives from the future, about bathing in 40 years! What will this year's big jumps tell us about a better water future? Latest news on our facebook page and in our newsletter.
